In room 9 we have been doing muslc story starter. I chose the video  So Good To Me.  I like the video because a girl lost her pet.

This is a story about a girl who has lost her giraffe. 

The girl was running down the stairs and she was happy.

She was excited and stomping her feet.

She was running outside to a pile of rope. She was sad because her pet was missing.It was a sunny day. She was searching everywhere. 

She looked in the trees and on the road.She was sad.She made a poster.

She put posters on trees for her lost pet.She was talking to neighbours.She was asking them if they had seen her pet.

She goes to the playground and she was lonely. Then giraffe finds her. They are both happy and excited.

They play hide and seek and then they go home together.

In room 9 we have been looking at musical instruments. The C.S.O came to our school and played for us. I like the drum kit because I like the bass drum.

In room 9 we had to pick a job we would like to do,from a list of jobs. I picked cruise ship captain.

Hi my name is Blake. I am a crew member on a cruise ship. 

My job is to put down the lifeboats in case the boat was sinking  If we didn’t have lifeboats

everyone will die. I will serve food and drink.

I also need to carry out emergency drills and procedures. 

I also assist with berthing the ship and casting off and anchoring the vessels.

I provide information and commentary for passengers.

One part of my job I don’t like is cleaning the ship.

The things I enjoy about my job is serving food and drinks to the passengers

I like putting out the lifeboats and making sure that the ship berths without crashing.

Being a deckhand is a cool job because I like to be on ships
